Copyright of every article published in Advance Sustainable Science, Engineering and Technology (ASSET) is held by the journal (ASSET), Universitas PGRI Semarang. By submitting a manuscript, the authors agree that, if the manuscript is accepted, copyright of the article is transferred to ASSET. The article is published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).

1. License

All material published in ASSET is protected under international copyright and intellectual property laws and is licensed under CC BY-NC-SA 4.0. Anyone may copy, redistribute, remix, transform and build upon the material for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original article and authors, a link to the license is provided, changes are indicated, and any adaptation is distributed under the same license. See the License page.

2. Author's warranties

The author warrants that the article is original, written by the stated author(s), has not been published before, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe the rights of others, and that any necessary written permissions to quote from other sources have been obtained by the author(s).

3. User rights

Under the CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 license, users are free to share (copy and redistribute) and adapt the article for non-commercial purposes under the terms above.

4. Rights retained by authors

Although copyright is transferred to the journal, authors retain the following rights:

  • patent rights and other proprietary rights relating to the article, other than copyright;
  • the right to use the substance of the article in their own future works, including lectures and books;
  • the right to reproduce the article for their own non-commercial purposes;
  • the right to self-archive the published version (e.g. in institutional repositories or on personal websites) with full citation and a link to the article on the ASSET website.

5. Co-authorship

If the article was prepared jointly with other authors, the corresponding author warrants that he/she has been authorised by all co-authors to agree to these terms on their behalf, and agrees to inform the co-authors of these terms.

6. Royalties

Publication does not entitle the author to royalties or other fees. To the extent legally permissible, the author waives the right to collect royalties relating to the article in respect of any use of the article by ASSET or its sublicensees.

7. Miscellaneous

ASSET will publish the article (or have it published) once the editorial process has been successfully completed. ASSET may conform the article to its style of punctuation, spelling, capitalisation and usage. The author acknowledges that the article will be publicly accessible free of charge to readers.
