ETERNAL: English Teaching Journal is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles, so that the scholarly record remains available even if the journal website becomes unavailable. The journal content is preserved through LOCKSS and CLOCKSS, together with the national repository and indexing services listed below.
| Channel | What is preserved |
|---|---|
| Publisher server (UPGRIS Press) | All issues, full-text PDFs, and metadata are hosted on the Open Journal Systems server of Universitas PGRI Semarang, with regular server-level backups managed by the university. |
| LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) | ETERNAL uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, permitting those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. LOCKSS Publisher Manifest |
| CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) | ETERNAL uses the CLOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. If the journal ceases publication or the website becomes unavailable, archived content can be released and made freely available to the public. CLOCKSS Publisher Manifest |
| Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) | National repository of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of Indonesia that stores article metadata and full texts. View ETERNAL in Garuda |
| Crossref DOI | Every article has a persistent DOI (prefix 10.26877), so links to the article remain valid if the URL changes. |
| OAI-PMH | Metadata is openly available for harvesting by indexing services and digital libraries through the OAI-PMH interface: journal2.upgris.ac.id/index.php/eternal/oai. |
| Google Scholar & Dimensions | Article records and full-text links are indexed and cached by these discovery services. |
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit the published version of their article in institutional repositories, subject repositories, or personal websites, provided that full bibliographic details and a link to the DOI are included (see License).
