PAUDIA: Jurnal Penelitian dalam Bidang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini is committed to ensuring fair authorship attribution and transparency regarding the contributions of individuals involved in scholarly publications. Authors are expected to meet the journal's authorship criteria and take responsibility for the integrity of their contributions.
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions to the research and manuscript. Authors are expected to meet the following criteria:
Make a substantial contribution to the conception or design of the study, data collection, or data analysis and interpretation.
Participate in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
Approve the final version of the manuscript for publication.
Agree to be accountable for their contributions and help ensure that questions concerning the accuracy or integrity of the work are appropriately addressed.
Individuals who do not meet the authorship criteria should not be listed as authors solely because of their position, seniority, institutional affiliation, funding, or administrative role.
Authors are encouraged to describe their individual contributions to the research and manuscript. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that the contribution statements accurately reflect the contributions of all authors and that the information has been agreed upon by the authors.
The corresponding author serves as the primary contact between the authors and the editorial team. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that:
All listed authors meet the journal's authorship criteria.
All authors have approved the submitted manuscript and its final version.
Author names, affiliations, order, and contribution statements are accurate.
Communication with the editorial team is handled appropriately throughout the publication process.
Being designated as the corresponding author does not automatically confer greater authorship rights or responsibility than those of other authors.
The order of authors should be agreed upon by all authors before manuscript submission and should reflect their contributions and applicable scholarly conventions.
Before publication, authors may request changes to author names or author order by notifying the editorial team. Such requests are subject to editorial review and must be submitted before the article is published.
After publication, changes to author names or author order will be considered only for valid reasons and in accordance with the journal's publication ethics. Approved changes may require a formal correction to the published article and updates to its metadata, where applicable.
Authors are responsible for carefully verifying all author information before submission and approving the final version for publication.
Individuals who have contributed to the research but do not meet the authorship criteria may be acknowledged, with their permission. Such contributions may include technical assistance, language editing, or other forms of support.
Acknowledgment should not be used as a substitute for authorship when an individual's contributions meet the journal's authorship criteria.
Any dispute concerning authorship or author order should first be addressed by the authors involved. The editorial team may request clarification or supporting information when necessary. If the dispute cannot be resolved, PAUDIA may refer the matter to the relevant institution or organization for further consideration.
The editorial team may suspend the editorial process while a significant authorship dispute remains unresolved.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that authorship and contribution information is accurate and transparent. Misrepresentation of authorship may be handled in accordance with PAUDIA's Publication Ethics and Allegations of Research Misconduct policies.
