PAUDIA: Jurnal Penelitian dalam Bidang Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record. When significant errors or concerns are identified in a published article, the journal will assess the issue and take appropriate editorial action to ensure that readers are informed of relevant changes to the published record.
A correction may be issued when an error is identified in a published article and the error requires formal notification to readers, but does not invalidate the overall findings or conclusions of the work.
Corrections may address errors in author names, affiliations, metadata, figures, tables, text, or other published information, depending on the nature and significance of the error.
Requests for corrections may be submitted by authors, readers, editors, or other relevant parties. The editorial team will assess the reported error and determine whether a formal correction is necessary.
When a correction is published, the notice will describe the relevant error and its correction. Where practicable, the correction notice will be linked to the original article to maintain transparency and traceability.
Retraction may be considered when the reliability or integrity of a published article is seriously compromised.
Grounds for retraction may include, but are not limited to:
Confirmed fabrication or falsification of research data or results.
Plagiarism or substantial unattributed duplication.
Serious errors that invalidate the main findings or conclusions.
Unethical research practices or serious violations of research ethics.
Improper publication practices that substantially compromise the integrity of the scholarly record.
Other circumstances in which the published article can no longer be considered reliable.
A retraction may be considered following an investigation by the journal, information from the authors, findings from a relevant institution, or other credible evidence. Retraction does not automatically imply that every author was responsible for the issue.
When a potential need for retraction is identified, PAUDIA will assess the available evidence and, where appropriate, seek explanations from the authors and relevant institutions.
The editorial team will evaluate the seriousness of the concern, its impact on the reliability of the article, and any relevant ethical or procedural considerations before making a decision.
Where retraction is warranted, PAUDIA will publish a retraction notice explaining the reason for the retraction as clearly as possible, subject to applicable confidentiality and legal requirements.
The retraction notice will be linked to the original article. The original article will ordinarily remain accessible, clearly marked as retracted, to preserve the scholarly record and provide transparency to readers.
If substantial concerns arise about a published article but the available evidence is insufficient to reach a final decision, PAUDIA may publish an expression of concern.
An expression of concern informs readers that an issue is being examined. It may be updated or followed by a correction or retraction when further information becomes available.
Disputes concerning authorship, contributions, or institutional responsibilities will be assessed based on the available information. Where appropriate, PAUDIA may request clarification from the authors or refer the matter to the relevant institution.
The journal may postpone a decision or take other appropriate measures while a substantial dispute is being resolved.
Decisions concerning corrections, retractions, and expressions of concern are made by the editorial team based on the available evidence and the journal's publication ethics principles.
Authors will normally be given an opportunity to respond to concerns relevant to their article. However, the journal may take necessary action to protect the integrity of the scholarly record even when an author does not respond.
Correction notices, retraction notices, and expressions of concern will be made accessible to readers and linked to the relevant published article whenever practicable.
PAUDIA aims to ensure that changes to the published scholarly record are documented transparently while respecting applicable ethical, legal, and confidentiality requirements.
This policy applies to articles published in PAUDIA and may be reviewed periodically to maintain consistency with recognized publication ethics practices.
